Uniform, meetings and activities
Uniform and badges
Each section has its own uniform. Ask leaders when to buy it; badge placement guidance is available from Scouts.
What to bring
Wear appropriate clothes and footwear for the planned activity. Leaders will tell you when special equipment is needed.
Camps and trips
Activities away from the usual meeting venue have separate information, bookings and consent arrangements.

Joining, subscriptions and OSM
Joining the group
Register your interest on our OSM waiting list. Availability depends on section places and adult volunteers.
Subscriptions and payments
Your leaders will confirm current subscriptions, payment arrangements and any activity-specific costs. We do not publish unconfirmed fees.
Keep details up to date
When your child joins, use the membership process provided by leaders for contact, emergency and other required details.

Can my child try a session before buying uniform?
Ask your section leader about introductory sessions and when uniform is required.
Where can I see the term programme?
Leaders share the current programme and details for trips or events through the group’s usual parent communication channels.
Do meetings run during school holidays?
Regular meeting dates and any exceptions are confirmed by your section leaders. Please use their latest communications.
What if my child needs extra support?
Speak privately with the section leaders so they can discuss suitable arrangements for your child.
How do we get a place?
Please use the OSM waiting-list link. Joining the list does not guarantee an immediate place.
