Tuesday night the cubs channelled their inner creativity in 3 different activities:

Decoupage: we up-cycled some small glass bottles with decoupage paper and PVA glue to create a vase for a single flower, although could perhaps accommodate up to 3 stems. It was lovely to watch the children and adults immerse themselves in the moment to create their unique master pieces!

Memory threads / Book marks : Using different colour embroidery thread we mindfully selected a different colour to represent someone or something we love. We then platted these together bringing these elements together with a knot at the top to secure it. Multiple uses, including a unique bookmark, made with love.

Lastly we had fun making anything we wanted out of polymer clay. Characters and flowers were created with so many colours to choose from and once these creations made it home they could be put in the oven on a low heat to set hard.

Time flies when you’re having fun!
